Banker named to lead PLN in management shake-up

The government appointed on Tuesday the president director of state-owned Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) as the new president of state-owned electricity company PLN as part of a management shake-up in the country’s major state enterprises.

BRI’s president Sofyan Basir was named to replace Nur Pamudji, while Chandra Hamzah, the former deputy chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), was appointed as the president commissioner replacing Yogo Pratomo.
