Inovisi to Spend Rp 1.2t for Hydropower Plants in North, West Sumatra in 2015

Inovisi Infracom, a listed infrastructure holding company, plans to spend Rp 1.2 trillion ($99 million) next year to build two power plants in West and North Sumatra, through its unit QDC Technologies.

QDC Technologies will construct hydropower plants in Pasaman, Batu Lunak, in West Sumatra with capacity at 30 megawatts to 40 megawatts, for a cost of Rp 1 trillion. Another project is a micro-hydropower plant with 7.5 megawatt capacity at Sembilin, Dairi in North Sumatra, at a cost of Rp 160 billion.
