IFC and Asia Green to Develop Southeast Asian Clean Power Plants

International Finance Corp., the World Bank’s private-sector financing arm, will work with Asia Green Capital Pte Ltd. to develop clean-energy projects in Southeast Asia.

IFC InfraVentures and Asia Green’s first project will be the development of a 62.5-megawatt wind farm in Indonesia, the companies said today in an e-mailed statement. Thereafter they will develop a series of wind and solar power plants in Indonesia and other Southeast Asian markets.
