Construction of C.Java undersea gas pipeline to start in March

Construction of a 200-kilometer-long undersea gas pipeline from the Kepodang gas field at the Muria block in Jepara to steam-fueled power plant (PLTU) Tambaklorok in Semarang, Central Java, will begin on March 11, Bakrie Indo Infrastructure chief operating officer AD Erlangga has said.

It has been reported that offshore gas drilling activities started five days ago. With the pipeline transmission installment, natural gas can be channeled to PLTU Tambaklorok to generate electricity.
