Indonesia – Sarulla finally gets going

The much delayed US$1.6bn 330MW Sarulla geothermal power plant is finally concluding the last leg of negotiations with the government before financing can be concluded. Sponsors comprising Itochu, Kyushu Electric, Medco Energi Internasional and Ormat are going to sit down on Thursday with government of Indonesia, PLN and Pertamina to sign the relevant amendments to the documents that will finally pave the way for the US$1.2bn debt financing.
