Pertamina to generate 2×55 MW from Kerinci B-1 WKP Sungai Penuh

JAKARTA: PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE) is optimistic to produce electricity with a capacity of 2 X 55 MW in 2015 from geothermal drilling location in Kerinci B-1 WKP Sungai Penuh, Jambi although the location is still stricken by landslide.

Adiatma Sardjito, the PGE’s Corporate Secretary, said the landslide is caused by heavy rains and it does give any significant impact on the PGE’s geothermal production. Because the drilling site in Kerinci B-1 WKP Penuh River is still in the exploratory stage.
