NUSA DUA – After finishing the problem of geothermal power plant related to land overlapping and tariff, the Minister of EMR asked PT PLN (Persero) to handle the other problems and ease the plant licensing to increase the electricity capacity along with the increase of energy supply needs due to economic growth.
“By having 6 – 6,5% per year, we have been lack of energy supply. So, I ask PLN not to make any too long decision concerning power plants,” said the minister when giving speech in the 19th Conference of the Electric Power Supply Industry (the 19th CEPSI), Monday (15/10/2012).
“If there is anyone request for IPP, do not think too long. As long as all the requirement completed and supported all four national development pillars, sign it immediately, unless economic growth will always be blocked due to lack of electricity.”
