Less Than Half of 10,000 MW Electricity Project Completed

So far, only about 45 percent of the government’s first 10,000 MW power generating system has been completed, an executive of the state utility firm Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) commented on Friday.

Harry Jaya Pahlawan, PLN’s director of operations for western Indonesia, was quoted by the Antara news agency in Palembang, South Sumatra as saying that the production capacity that has been built under the program thus far has only reached 4,500 MW.
