Indonesian firm, U.S. GE to cooperate in renewable energy

JAKARTA, May 7 (Xinhua) – A senior official at Indonesian power utility firm, PT Pelayanan Listrik Negara (PLN), said on Monday that it has established a cooperation with prominent U.S. energy firm of General Electric (GE) in developing power generator propelled by renewable resources.

A statement released by the PLN said here on Monday that “The cooperation is particularly benefited to PLN’s efforts in developing power plant projects fueled by bio-mass energy that has been developed by GE,” PLN President Director, Nur Pamudji, said in the statement.
